Issue:

A manufacturing factory having 40,000 Sq ft production area with two warehouses, secured process areas, 24 hours CCTV monitored areas & strong rooms which deals with millions of worth goods produced and shipped. It has become eminent problem for the management to track each and every asset and pallets that are moved from one area of the factory to another area of the factory, movable, immovable restrictions, destiny locations.

Assets were three types.
  • Movable Assets
  • Movable Assets, Restricted at Entry/Exit Gates.
  • Immovable Assets

Solution:

Each asset tagged according to the nature of the asset types and security level, Logically each asset is set with home reader, destination reader, additionally other readers & restricted readers. Recognizing different situations and combination of tags positions, status, different alarm levels are defined and GUI presentation of such alarms with tag image and tag detail visually on the floor images, The GUI presentation was based on floors & zones.

Using tag type such Key Fob, Assets can be moved provided the Tag is acknowledged at reader to move out of gate with permission.
